LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A water main ruptured Wednesday in the Westmont area, gushing water onto local streets and creating an large sinkhole.

The geyser was reported just after 10 a.m. at Western Avenue south of Century Boulevard.

Crews from the Department of Water & Power were responding.
